Who we are
Older, and in no hurry to apologise for it
Prime Timers of the Desert is a social club for gay men who have some years behind them. We meet for coffee, dinner, films, hikes, card games, and the occasional pool party.
There is no audition and no committee to impress. Members come from all over the valley — Palm Springs, Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert and beyond — and from every kind of life before this one.
If you have been meaning to get out more, this is a good place to start.
What to expect
Show up as you are
No dress code, no dues at the door, no pressure to sign anything on your first visit. Come to one thing and see how it feels.
Something most weeks
Coffee mornings, lunches, film nights, day trips and dinners. Some are quiet, some are lively, none of them run late unless you want them to.

Every gathering on this calendar was arranged by somebody in the club. If you have an idea, it can be on here next month.

The first step is just turning up
